The article is devoted to the problem of forming the professional competence of a future physics
teacher in innovative activity in the context of updating the content of education. The article focuses on the creation of a model of new professionalism for teachers, as well as guidelines for updating the professional training of a future physics teacher in terms of the formation of his competence in innovation.
Based on the model of new professionalism, the article highlights the guidelines for updating the professional training of a future physics teacher from the point of view of the formation of his competence in innovation.
The article outlines guidelines that allow us to identify the principles on the basis of which the professional training of a future physics teacher for innovation is designed. The integrative personal quality of a future physics teacher in innovative activity is considered, the main components of which are intellectual and motivational factors of mental activity, manifested in innovative activity in the process of solving professional tasks.
