Implementation of the activity approach as a basis for improving the learning process at a pedagogical university

Abstract

There is a relevant problem of ways to improve the educational process in training teachers for secondary schools. The pedagogical process at the university should be synchronized with the changes taking place in school pedagogy, methodology, methods of teaching, and teaching. The article is devoted to the implementation of the activity approach in teaching students of pedagogical specialties. As a result of the analysis, we have identified the most effective approaches to learning. The main direction of training is an activity-oriented practice-oriented approach. The authors present the results of the work on the implementation of an activity-based approach to teaching students in pedagogical educational programs. The article reveals the ways and techniques of active involvement of students in the educational process and the ways of forming their methodical style of thinking and independence.
