Abstract

The article discusses the methods and content of speech therapy work on the formation of word
formation skills in preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment. Among the speech disorders most common among preschoolers is such a type as general underdevelopment of speech. General underdevelopment of speech (hereinafter referred to as ONR) is a type of speech disorder where all structural components of speech, such as phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, suffer from normal hearing and intelligence. From the grammatical structure of speech, word formation is especially unformed. As a result, children have a delay in the development of coherent speech, and then it affects the written speech of children and problems in speech communication. Therefore, we pay special attention to the formation of the word-formation system in the formative and correctional-developmental work with children of ONR, paying special attention to the stages.
The formation of word-formation skills in children with ONR we have identified four stages. The formation of word-formation skills to solve the tasks was carried out at several stages.
We hope that the proposed methodology and content of the formation of word-formation skills of children with general speech underdevelopment of preschool age will have a positive impact on the development of speech and cognitive skills of these children necessary for school.
