Opportunities for the digitalization of Kazakhstani education, affecting the development of the country’s human capital

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to highlight the results of the theoretical and experimental parts of the study. The development of human capital, the formation of a new generation of patriots with advanced ICT skills is one of the strategic directions for the development of the Digital Economy program. In this regard, increasing digital literacy at all levels of the education system is becoming a priority. Digitalization has gone through several stages of transformation. Our article indicates four main stages of its formation: the beginning of the 80s, the first years of the post-Soviet period, the period 19999-2015 (Intel and Microsoft, Apple, Tesla), and the current stage: digitalization of the world community, transition to crypto-circulation, development and operation electric vehicles and so on.
The experimental part of the presented publication reveals the results of independent sociological research conducted by teachers of Baishev University and K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University with 1–2-year students and teachers of physical and mathematical disciplines. In total, 121 students and 30 teachers took part in the study. The purpose of the survey is to clarify the attitude of students and teachers to the processes of digitalization in studies and everyday life.
The presented brief overview of theoretical data and sociological survey pointed to the consumer opportunity of social networks as a potentially new resource.
