This article deals with the methods of evaluation of cultural values and psycholinguistic aspects, which are the main aspects of educational literature. When including learning materials in a textbook, it is important to remember that they reflect a nation’s identity, cultural characteristics, worldview, and psychology. This is because these factors contribute to the vitality of our culture and convey human and national values to the student. The most important condition for increasing students’ motivation to learn is to provide comprehensible and interesting materials. The text material should be written in logical, clear, and understandable language, and the level of difficulty of the text should be appropriate to the age and ability of the learners. Language use should motivate learners to continue learning independently. The main task of textbook language is to ensure that learners understand the information quickly and retain it in their long-term memory. If a textbook is to be well-prepared and the texts are to strengthen learners’ language competence and form a linguistic identity, the problem must be researched extensively and the requirements and criteria for the textbook text must be defined as concretely as possible. Therefore, when evaluating textbooks, the relevance of the content to the age-specific psychology of students must be considered as a key aspect. Based on the analysis and conclusions of scientific research conducted at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Educational Content Expertise, we have tried to show these two aspects of the textbook.
