Abstract

The article considers cultural intelligence. It is a component of intercultural communicative competence that occupies a special place in intercultural communication. Intercultural communication is a complex phenomenon that includes various directions and forms of communication, and cultural intelligence is a type of intelligence that allows you to adapt to a new environment or culture, and allows an effective interaction. The purpose of the research work is the formation of intercultural communicative competence in a foreign language lesson. In the research work, there was used the method of adaptation of the scale of cultural intelligence in Russian by K. early and S. Angh. The Cultural Intelligence Scale was conducted in Kazakh and Russian languages as an online test compiled on Google forms. The differences in the results of the conducted determinative and formative experimental works and the importance of mastering cultural intelligence are shown in the article.
