Abstract

The article is devoted to the factors influencing the occurrence of professional burnout among teachers of higher education. It has been established that the reduction of teaching staff has become a common phenomenon in the field of education, which has led to the fact that many people have left their positions or even, in some cases, completely quit their jobs. This phenomenon has often been described as individual «burnout». There have been identified risk factors that can lead to emotional burnout of teachers and leaving school by the authors. These may include working with learning and behavioral difficulties in increasingly diverse classrooms, as well as a lack of sufficient study time, to teach the curriculum satisfactorily and in large class sizes.
