Preparation of future teachers for work in the conditions of inclusion

Abstract

The article reveals the need to prepare future teachers to carry out professional activities in the context of inclusion. The experience of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University is described. According to the authors, conditions should be created in a higher educational institution that allow developing
tolerance and empathy for people with special educational needs. Future teachers should have competencies that allow them to carry out professional activities with students with special needs. The authors provided information about the activities of the office of psychological and pedagogical correction No. 9 and the
resource center for the development of inclusive and special education, opened on the basis of the university. The importance of working with students with special educational needs is determined. Knowledge of the peculiarities of organizing work with people with special educational needs determines the professional aspects of preparing future teachers for professional activities in the context of inclusion.
