This article discusses the complexity and effectiveness of teaching chemistry in general secondary education organizations using CLIL technology. The content and capabilities of the CLIL learning technology have been studied. The needs and skills of a modern student and teacher need continuous updating. Therefore,
the education system has important tasks to educate a competitive personality. It turned out that the CLIL learning technology has its own difficulties in studying natural science subjects, including chemistry in English. Currently, it is necessary to constantly update the needs and skills of a person. Therefore, there was a need to prepare a highly qualified, professionally specialized, competitive personality. In the process of teaching, we realized that teaching natural science subjects, including chemistry, with the help of CLIL technology has its own characteristics. The article discusses the difficulties and effectiveness of teaching chemistry in English. The features of integrated English language teaching in chemistry are also differentiated.Also, in the course of the lesson, the quality of students’ knowledge was identified and analyzed.
