Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of factors affecting the quality of education received by students during English language studying in secondary educational institutions. The article focuses on explaining the concept of «quality», as well as its projection into the field of education. The aspect of educational and methodological equipment of the school subject was taken for the study. In the course of the empirical research, direct observation was carried out on the base of two school gymnasiums located in Astana, and the actual data obtained during the visit to those schools are presented for comparative analysis. In order to determine the degree of influence of the level of educational and methodological equipment on the quality of mastering the subject of «The English language» at the middle school level (7th grade), a hypothesis was formulated. In order to verify it, an operational test was successfully conducted, which proved that the absolute quality of education is directly dependent on sufficient educational and methodological equipment for teaching.
