In this article, the authors present an experimental work that was carried out by a doctoral
student of L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Astana, Kazakhstan. The relevance of the research
topic stems from the continuously existing modern technology, which requires improving the quality of
education of future computer science teachers and needs to improve the educational process. Improving
the quality of student education is one of the main tasks of all universities. The quality of training of
future computer science teachers in universities is ensured by the high professionalism of teachers, the
integration of science in the educational process. Along with traditional methods that guarantee the proper
quality of the educational process, universities use new innovative teaching technologies. The purpose
of this experiment is to apply Kaizen technology to improve the quality of education of future computer
science teachers. The study was conducted on the basis of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
During the study of the IT in Education course, the students of the experimental group used Kaizen
continuous improvement technology, while the control group used the traditional teaching method. In
total, 22 students participated in the study, of which 31.8% of students received grades from A (41-45),
31.8% received the highest grade A+ (46 - 50), 27.2% of students received B+ (36 - 40), the remaining 9% of
students received a grade B (31 - 35). The article provides examples of the application of a set of innovative
methods for the continuous improvement of professional skills and competencies. Based on the analysis
of the literature of foreign scientists and the result of the Mann-Whitney statistical criterion, we make
sure that Kaizen technology contributes to improving the quality of education of future computer science
teachers.
