The study the problem of pedagogical opportunities for tourism and local history activities

Abstract

Nowadays the entire education system is readjusted to master modern competencies. So that, the importance of additional education is becoming more relevant, which strengthens general education by its «unobtrusive» involvement of students in active educational activities. Tourist and local history activities
in additional education foster a love of nature, ecological culture, strong-willed qualities, activate cognitive interest, form a healthy lifestyle, promote knowledge of the native land, and help choose a future profession.
Based on the analysis of various sources, the article illustrates the degree of study of the problem of tourist and local history activities in historical retrospect. The article focuses on the research devoted to the formation and subsequent development of tourist and local history activities in Kazakhstan. There is an emphasis on the current state of the study of local history, local history education, which is directly linked to the work of local scientists, whose research reveals in detail the various issues of implementation of tourism and local history
activities in Kazakhstan. The article reflects the authors’ position on the development of tourist and local history activities in the Republic of KazakhstanThe authors highlight the fact that a promising area of tourism and
local history activities includes work with children with special educational needs, and such work should be organized on the basis of the «spirit of nomadism,» i.e. a special worldview of nomadic culture, in which the mechanism of intergenerational retranslation, free improvisation, continuous updating of traditions and mobile lifestyle are particularly important. The article deals with the pedagogical opportunities of tourist and local history activities in the aspect of modernization of public consciousness, indicated in the «Rukhani Zhangyru»
program.
