On some methods and techniques of teaching and educational activities at a university in the context of greening education

Abstract

The article deals with the problematic issues of environmental education in higher educational institutions, some methods, and techniques of teaching, and educational activities at a university in the context of greening education. The author emphasizes the need to introduce an ecological component into the content of curricula of disciplines of various specialties and the use of effective teaching methods that ensure an increase in the level of environmental culture and contribute to the achievement of a high level of environmental literacy of future specialists. Attention is drawn to the experience of an ecologically correct way of life of our people based on national traditions to preserve the environment, which is a systematic process of embodying established
patterns of behavior and moral norms in harmony with nature. And also the importance of involving students in environmental volunteer activities, which leads to active socialization, where the need for self-actualization of the individual is realized, the desire for moral goals and moral deeds occurs.
