Uzbeks of Kazakhstan: sociological researchon Uzbek youth

Abstract

The author in this article will try to answer the following questions: What are the future orientations of the Uzbek youth? What is the level of social activity? What is their migratory mood? According to the results of the study, the author notes that the modernization process also influenced the traditional way of life of the Uzbek communities. The sociological analysis of youth is based on theoretical work in the field of youth sociology K. Mannheim. A literature review of Uzbek studies in sociological and historical aspects is also provided.
The main method of collecting information was a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was conducted in schools where Uzbek students study. The data obtained complement the data of an in-depth interview conducted among the adult generation of Uzbeks in Kazakhstan. To conduct a survey among students, permits were obtained from their parents / legal representatives. Thus, this study complies with the ethics of the researcher.
