National consciousness and cultural values in higher art education in the context of the national idea «Mangilik El»

Abstract

Our research is devoted to the main priorities of higher art education in the light of the revival of spiritual and cultural values. There is an objectively established contradiction between the needs of society in increasing the cultural potential of the younger generation and the state of education and training in high school; between the presence of a rich layer of artistic and aesthetic potential of national art and its low demand in the training of future specialists of art education.
Art is an integral part of the musical culture of the Kazakh people, influences the spiritual component of the nation and has a special role in training and education of the younger generation. Therefore, the article presents the concept of artistic  and aesthetic education of students by means of different types of art as an advanced pedagogical experience of the past. We believe that it serves as a determining factor in changing the content of music and art education and can serve as a starting vector for the formation of ideas in the light of new requirements for the training of future specialists of creative disciplines.
One of the most urgent problems concerning the definition of priority goals for improving the education and upbringing of youth of the XXI century is its spiritual component. In this regard, national consciousness and cultural values are considered in the work as a cultural reality of the educational space.
The article specifies that the revival of national consciousness and cultural values are defined as significant priorities of the national idea «Mangilik El».
Considering the revival of national consciousness and cultural values of future teachers in the process of professional training of teachers, the author believes  that this process will be successful if it is carried out on the basis of the development of the concept of higher art education.
