Abstract

Football is one of the most recognizable and dominant sports. Behind all the appeal of football is the hard work of the players and the entire football staff. Nevertheless, the coach bears full responsibility for the team and its performance.

A sports coach is a specialist who educates athletes and prepares them for competitions. The main purpose of the coach's work is to train high–class athletes capable of winning competitions of the highest rank. It is more important for the coach to preserve or even reform the personality of the ward, under intense loads, to influence the individuality of everyone in sports activities. The coach must know the training methodology, as well as the basics of physical education and biology. He should also be aware of what is happening in the world of sports.

In Kazakhstan football, at the present stage, there is a problem of a shortage of qualified coaches, especially in youth football. In the article, an attempt is made to solve this problem, in particular, the opening of "Football Coach" departments in universities of Kazakhstan, at the departments of "Physical Culture and Sports".
