Abstract

The article deals with the problems of modern distance learning in higher education institutions. Today, in accordance with the requirements for educational organizations conducting distance learning and the rules for organizing the educational process for distance learning, it is required to pass the current and final control in distance learning using the proctoring system. In such conditions, problems arise in designing and creating a proctoring system. Online proctoring systems can be seen as a way for students to take exams honestly and openly. When building a proctoring system, first of all, there are issues of identification and recognition of students. The article analyzes research papers and literature on the topic, and suggests an algorithm for identification and recognition systems of students in distance learning. The methods of biometric authentication are considered.
