Ensuring the quality of textbooks is very important as one of the prerequisites for improving the quality of public education. Textbooks are the most effective of all instructional tools that influence student achievement.
The purpose of this article is to highlight the general criteria for the effectiveness of quality school textbooks based on international experience.
The learning resources provided in any format should be of high quality and reflect the specifics of that country. Analysis and comparison of textbooks is a widely studied area in teaching due to its high use in mathematics and science education.
