Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the influence of value orientations of young people living in rural and urban areas on the formation of a healthy lifestyle. The main purpose of the study is to what extent young people living in two different regions have formed an attitude to their health and to what extent
ideas about a healthy lifestyle have been formed. Among the factors determining a healthy lifestyle, personal characteristics, responsibility for one’s own health, active life, proper nutrition, spiritual growth, and the ability to manage stress play an important role. As a result of the conducted research, the orientation of young people to a healthy lifestyle is noted, depending on the values prevailing in rural and urban regions. Thus, it is established that the value orientations of young
people have an impact on the formation of a healthy lifestyle.
