Using the information and educational environment in the context of smart education in primary schools

Abstract

The article is devoted to the presentation of the results of the study in order to disclose in primary school certain aspects of the use of the information and educational environment on the subject of informatics (Digital literacy) in the conditions of Smart education.
In order to determine the role of the subject of computer science in the formation of the algorithmic style of thinking of younger schoolchildren, the importance of using the information and educational environment in
the conditions of Smart education and teaching computer science to the topics «Scratch» and «Robotics», there was conducted a survey of computer science teachers and parents of the city of Shymkent.
The conducted study has shown the need for the formation of algorithmic thinking of younger schoolchildren in computer science lessons, about the full material and technical support of the computer science cabinet, and
the readiness of teachers to work in the conditions of Smart education. About the importance of studying the topics «Scratch» and «Robotics» in primary schools and the need to create simple and visual performers and
an information and educational environment for these courses. In the course of the study, an analysis of the world literature on Smart education was carried  out and a conclusion was made about the role of the subject of computer science in the formation of the algorithmic style of thinking of younger schoolchildren, about the state of Smart education, about the importance and necessity of creating an information and educational environment
when studying the topics «Scratch» and «Robotics».
