In accordance with the attached approved State program «Digital Kazakhstan», the direction of digitalization of education is one of the most important vectors of development of education.
Digital technology in today’s world is not only a tool, and the environment, opening up new opportunities: the training at any time, continuing education, the ability to design individual educational routes of the users of electronic resources make.
Properly designed distance learning programs can be a very convenient and effective way to get an education.
This article presents the theoretical justification, development, creation, and testing of a set of distance learning tools for the implementation of a system-structural approach in teaching chemistry in the non-chemical specialty of the educational program “Life Safety and Environmental Protection”.
The term “system-structural” is used in this article as the construction, arrangement, order, and methods of presentation of educational material and the establishment of structural and logical connections. The use of a
systematic and structural approach to the presentation of educational material also allows you to activate the educational and cognitive activities of students, to diversify the forms, methods, and means of teaching, and to bring the chemistry course closer to the interests of students, to help them learn the real chemical picture of the world.
The founder of the system-structural approach in chemistry is the Russian chemist D. I. Mendeleev.
According to Mendeleev, any exact knowledge is a system, which is based on a single system-prosthetic factor. The systematizing factor is the atomic weight since it is the main characteristic of all chemical elements.
