Department of Psychology of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in a historical perspective

Abstract

The article describes the history of the formation of the Psychology Department of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The first head of the department was Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences A.B. Intykbaeva. There have been carried out scientific and pedagogical activities in the department by psychologists, graduates of different schools of psychological science. There are graduates of leading domestic and foreign universities that have been training
psychologists for many years. Over the years of the department’s work, hundreds of highly qualified psychologists have graduated the university, providing high-quality psychological services in all areas of activity, there has been formed a professional community of graduate psychologists of bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
