Improving the vocational training of students for social and pedagogical work

Abstract

This article reviews the functions of social pedagogues in the modern education system, the issues of effective usage of innovative technologies in the training of specialists in social and pedagogical work in higher education, and the main ways of increasing the social activity of students. Work of the social teacher according to qualification characteristics is analyzed. Teachers have to increase the professional competence according to modern innovations and requirements of society.
Students have to take the responsibility for the professional duties at early stages of process and with great interest to develop in the course of training.
The technology of design expands possibilities of pupils to independently investigate, reveal problems, to predict, make decisions and to yield results. Participation of students in volunteer work consists in formation of a civic stand of young people and increase in their social activity in the field of a profession.
