Problems of the formation of professional motivation of students in socio-pedagogical education

Abstract

This article covers the problem of the formation of professional motivation of students in social and pedagogical education in general and among students of the specialty «Social pedagogy and self-knowledge» in particular. The relevance of the issue being studied is determined by the social order of society and the needs of the labor market in vocational teachers, motivated for successful professional activities, capable of self-development and self-realization in vocational pedagogical activities. Considered the importance and knowledge of the studied issue in the pedagogical and psychological science. The concepts of motives of educational and professional activity are revealed. Classifications of motives of educational and professional activities are presented, which in turn determine the manifestation of educational and professional activity. A comparative analysis of the employment of students after graduation, made during the survey among graduate students of the specialty «Social pedagogy and self-knowledge.»
