Abstract

In solving the complex problems of inclusive education, the teacher plays an important role, since it is he who forms the educational process, systematizes, specifies the content of cognitive material for the successful mastering of the necessary skills and knowledge by children, providing opportunities for the personal development of each child. The purpose of this article is to identify whether a future special teacher has professional skills in preparing future special teachers to work in an inclusive educational environment. The study involved 143 students of the educational program “6B01901-Special Pedagogy” of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Management in Education of ARU named after K. Zhubanov. To conduct experimental work, the authors developed experimental tasks in order to determine the levels of professional readiness of future special teachers. In the article, the authors characterize the competencies necessary for special teachers to work in an inclusive educational institution, which include: professional competencies and general competencies, which in the coming years will direct the work of higher educational institutions to the content component of training specialists to work in an inclusive educational environment. The study made it possible to determine the requirements for the training of special teachers to work in an inclusive educational environment. The authors have identified criteria for the readiness of a future specialist to work in an inclusive educational environment and indicative indicators for each criterion. Based on the developed tasks for each indicator, the levels of formation of didactic knowledge and practical skills of students are characterized. An analysis of the results of the study led to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop the professional skills of future special teachers to work in an inclusive educational environment.
