Abstract

The article examines the reasons for the emigration of young people from Kazakhstan.
During the research, special attention is paid to the study of factors contributing to the outflow of students
and young professionals abroad. The basis for the analysis was in-depth interviews conducted among
young Kazakhstanis currently living in foreign countries. During the interview, questions were asked
about the reasons to stay abroad and about plans to return back to Kazakhstan. According to the results
of the survey, the key trends in the perception of talented youth of life abroad and in their native country
are formulated. The study contributes to understanding the factors influencing the outflow of professional
personnel from the country, as well as the reasons that deter young people from returning to their historical
homeland.
