The effectiveness of using Kaizen technology in higher education

Abstract

This article notes that currently one of the most effective educational technologies in the higher education system is Kaizen technology, which is based on continuous improvement in the field of teaching and learning. Today, there are many learning technologies that are designed to make the quality of education better. This study is devoted to testing the application of Kaizen technology for teaching students at the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan). In order to identify the effectiveness of using Kaizen technology in higher education, the following experimental work was carried out during one semester: university students participated in classes developed using Kaizen case technology. The students had to understand the proposed situations and find methods to solve them. In general, the experiment showed that the use of Kaizen technology in higher education is possible and appropriate, which coincides with the results of other researchers. Most of the proposed cases were successfully solved by the students. This approach develops a number of important qualities in students, for example, improving interpersonal relationships and inventiveness.
