Self-design of the professional career of a future teacher

Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of building a professional career by future specialists in the educational environment of the university. The investigated problem of the formation of professional career self-design skills is relevant and meets the requirements of the labor market for a modern graduate of a
higher educational institution. The article considers concepts of «career» and «professional career». The study involved the North Kazakhstan University named after. M. Kozybayev and the University. A. Myrzakhmetov, with a total of 148 participants. The article analyzes the readiness of students to self-design a professional career. It reveals the attitude of students to the need to form the skill of self-design and the need for career growth. Based on the results obtained, there has been substantiated the necessity of purposeful work on selfdesign of the future teacher’s professional career. There are presented several elective disciplines, the content of which is aimed at developing the skills of self-designing a professional career. It is possible to form a high level of the skill of self-design of a professional career when non-formal forms of education are implemented in the educational process along with formal forms of education.
