The article evaluates the features of Kazakh folklore fairytales as a cultural phenomenon from a scientific perspective. Fairy tales have their significance in determining the unique worldview of the Kazakh people in the knowledge of the world and in recognizing its conceptual orientation. The character of Kazakh worldview was studied based on the theory of reflection as a linguistic picture of the world in Kazakh fairy tales.In the 21st century, the global importance of quality education and national education grew substantially. The ability of future generations to find their place in society depends on the quality of education, competence, and level of cognition. The article analyzed the role of fairy tales in implementing positive qualities to a child from an early age in accordance with the principles of reflection. Another crucial concept is the “self” of the individual. The role of fairytales in forming knowledge, creativity, the methods of executing formed skills, social reflection, the ability to think about the meaning of life,and the existentialism of an intellectual individual was studied with specific examples. The image of Kazakh fairytales as cognitive and cultural phenomena was determined in the cognitological direction.
