Social functions of the lyceum for gifted children and their role in the development of creative personality

Abstract

The presented work traces the activities of teachers of schools for gifted children on the issues of socialization and upbringing of a creative personality. The main social functions that are aimed at the formation of a competent socially integrated and mobile personality are indicated. The expected social effect is determined:
the education of individuals capable of becoming qualified employees with sufficient social skills to take an active role in matters of social and professional activity. The key competencies in the framework of training competitive personnel for the market in order to improve the national economy are indicated. The study
considers the learning conditions under which gifted children could fully realize their abilities in accordance with their own interests and the interests of society.
