Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of the formation of linguoculturological competence in teaching Russian language. The present work aims to clarify the scientific definition of the concept of “linguoculturological competence” and to identify the conditions for its optimal development among students in Russian language classes. Furthermore, traditional and innovative methods and techniques for achieving the expected goals using studies of modern integrative sciences are determined, in particular, ethnopsycholinguistics.
The article deals with a general overview of domestic and foreign scientific and theoretical research on the formation of linguoculturological competence of students and pupils on the basis of which it is concluded that the problem of development linguoculturological competence is one of the most relevant issues of modern education. In addition to the fact that linguoculturological competence is considered from the perspective of the linguistic world-image and a method of associative experiment is proposed as a way of forming linguoculturological competence of future specialists.
