Film education as a means of adolescents professional and personal development

Abstract

Screen arts - an integral part of our life. Сinema, as a media formation method contributes to the artistic and aesthetic school of elder schoolchildren, as well as the development of professional self-determination of adolescents. The effectiveness of сinemal psychological and pedagogical potential is reflected in this article. The authors present the results of the study of students’ professional personality self-determination, indicate the key factors affecting the professional selection of students. The article substantiates the ability of cinema to
change teenagers’ professional and personal attitudes, modern film formation models are described. The study reveals the relevance of media education on the material of cinema, the need to form a media-use culture, and the information culture of schoolchildren. The authors raise the aesthetic content of the training films, believing that artistic techniques of cinema affect the emotional sphere of students, forming their views and preferences.
