Professional competences of future primary school teachers

Abstract

The article considers problems of formation the competence of future primary school teachers. The article presents results of a survey of participants of educational process, such as teachers of educational organizations, parents, and students in a large sample (2812 people). Based on the results of empirical study,
there are summarized requirements for the competence of future primary school. There have been identified some necessary competencies that require their development among students to introduce new disciplines in the State Educational Standard by improving the training of primary school teachers. The set of identified competencies goes beyond pedagogical aspects. It isrepresented by such factors as ethics of computer technology, speech culture, presentation speech, knowledge of foreign languages, time management. The set of identified
competencies is relevant in the 21st century. It helps to prepare a specialist with a wide range of skills.
