paid to the problem of psychological difficulties encountered by students in foreign language classesand negatively influenced on learning process. The stage game method is considered as an effective technology in teaching foreign
languages, and as an opportunity to remove psychological barriers. The paper gives definitions of the concepts “innovative methods”, “psychological barrier”, “stage game”. The article explores innovative methods aimed at the development of communicative activity, creative abilities, and the implementation of a personality-oriented approach. A personality-oriented approach is a determining direction in the study of methods of teaching a foreign language. The main goal of teaching a foreign language is the formation and development of foreign language communicative competence.
The relevance of this work is dictated by the need to use new methods and technologies within the framework of a personality-oriented approach, as well as studying the problems of stage play in modern technology.
