Problems of psychological development of adolescents with disabilities

The article deals with a number of psychological problems in adolescents with disabilities. In particular, the impact of physical disabilities on the development of a teenager’s personality, relationships with parents of disabled children, relationships with peers, feelings of “loneliness”, low self-esteem, feelings of inferiority, discomfort, behavioral disorders, lack of self-confidence, mental and physical dependence, fear, depression, hypersensitivity to public opinion, the integration of adolescents with disabilities in the society of healthy people, etc. In
connection with these issues were analysed and presents the research results of some scientists, such as E. S. Kalisnik, O. L. Romanova, I. I. Mamaichuk, tn. Osipenko. In addition, the influence of physical disorders in adolescence on
the formation of the image of the “I” of a teenager, a violation of the emotional and volitional sphere is described in detail.
