Issues of social and psychological assistance to cancer patients

Abstract

The article analyzes the issues of providing social and psychological assistance to cancer patients and statistical data on the disease in Kazakhstan.
The article discusses the issues of a comprehensive study of cancer’s current growth and its types, which have become one of the global diseases. The article describes the methods of providing social and psychological assistance to cancer patients. It also examines the scientific aspects of social and psychological care for cancer patients and describes their areas of work.
The article discusses that the provision of social and psychological assistance improves the quality of life of the patient and his family members, which is the only effective way to achieve this through active detection, careful assessment, and symptomatic treatment of the disease and other manifestations of the disease, as well as the provision of psychological, social and spiritual support.
